The text contains a letter from Carl Albert to Sam D. Pool, in which Albert expresses his support for Overton James's candidacy for the position of Governor of the Chickasaw Nation. Albert notes that James is a graduate of Southeastern State College and has experience teaching and working in sales. Pool has written to Albert on behalf of James, and Albert assures him that he will do what he can to help James's candidacy.
