The text contains a letter from Chenena Roach, secretary of the Chickasaw Tribal Council, to Carl Albert, majority leader of the US House of Representatives. In the letter, Roach thanks Albert for his support in appointing Overton James as governor of the Chickasaw Nation. She states that without his help, the Chickasaw would have been lost again.
