The text discusses the meeting between Assistant Secretary Harrison Loesch, Specialist on Indian Water Rights William H. Veeder, and members of the Cherokee Nation to discuss the Cherokee Nation's water rights. The meeting also discussed the Osage Nation's water rights, and Veeder stated that he would be working with the Cherokee Nation to develop their own water rights picture.
