This bill amends certain laws relating to the affairs of the Osage Indians of Oklahoma. It requires that all income and receipts accruing to the Osage Tribe be segregated and distributed to members of the tribe or their heirs, and establishes a process for unitizing oil and gas leases producing from a common source of supply. The bill also sets forth provisions for compensation of surface owners for damages caused by mineral mining operations, and for the levy and collection of a gross production tax on oil and gas production in Osage County, Oklahoma.
