The American for Indian Opportunity Action Council has proposed a one-year budget of $35,000, which would go towards office manager and clerical assistance, telephones, rent, office equipment and supplies, legislative alerts and postage, travel, and transportation for Indian representatives to testify or lobby as required. Additionally, $5,000 would be set aside for special projects related to Menominee legislation.
