The AIO Action Council is a non-profit organization that advocates for American Indian rights and needs. The Council recently met with representatives from various International Unions to discuss their legislative activities and budget needs. The AIO Action Council is not allowed to receive tax-exempt funds, and so relies on donations from organizations like the Steelworkers. LaDonna Harris, President of the AIO Action Council, is asking for the Steelworkers' continued financial support.
