 Item — Box: 282, Folder: 4
Identifier: CAC_CC_026_3_282_4_0046
The AIO Action Council is a non-profit Indian organization that advocates for Indian self-improvement and self-help programs. The Council is active on a range of legislative issues, most dealing specifically with Indian affairs. The AIO Action Council is not allowed to receive tax-exempt funds, despite the fact that so much of the lives and needs of American Indians are involved with actions and laws of the federal government.

The AIO Action Council is soliciting financial contributions from the Marine Engineers Beneficial Association to help support its budget of $35,000.
