The Southwest Center for Human Relations Studies is sponsoring the Fourth Annual Conference on Human Relations Problems in the Southwest. The theme of this year's conference is Extremism. The conference is designed to study, explore and analyze extremism as a growing threat in the Southwest and the nation. It will provide the opportunity to study the problem, to become knowledgeable and apprised of its implications, and to consider strategies and alternatives of counteraction. The conference will be comprised of persons representing a cross section of organizations and professions, and the keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Alan F. Westin of the Department of Public Law and Government, Columbia University. There is a $10.00 registration fee for each participant, which includes the banquet meal which is scheduled for Friday night.
