The text contains a letter from Frank J. Magrath, regional director of the National Conference of Christians and Jews, Inc., to Mrs. Fred Harris. In the letter, Magrath invites Harris to be the keynote speaker at the NCCJ Women's Division 1967 Program Institute. He explains that the focus of the institute is on women's role and responsibility in the area of human relations, and that her knowledge and insights in this field would be of great help to the program. Magrath says that the NCCJ would pay for Harris's travel and expenses, and offers a modest honorarium. He asks Harris to let him know soon if she is able to accept the invitation.
