The text is a letter from Mrs. Fred R. Harris, President of the Job Corps, to Mrs. Charlyce King, Center Director of the Guthrie Job Corps Center for Women. In the letter, Mrs. Harris expresses her regret at not being able to attend the Center's birthday celebration, and her hope that Mrs. King and her husband will be able to attend the Oklahoman's for Indian Opportunity Banquet the following day. She also mentions that she and Mrs. Kreps were unable to meet when Mrs. King was last in Washington, and expresses her hope that they will be able to do so in the future.
