The text contains a letter from Mrs. Fred R. Harris to Mrs. Milton Ashfall of the Oklahoma City Chapter of the DAR, declining an invitation to speak at a meeting due to a scheduling conflict. Mrs. Harris recommends that the DAR contact Mrs. Iola Taylor or Mr. Bill Glover of the Oklahomans for Indian Opportunity organization, both of whom she says would make excellent speakers on the topic of the meeting.
