The First Regional Conference of Women in the War on Poverty

The Women's Advisory Council on Poverty is planning to hold a series of regional conferences, with the first one taking place in Kansas City, Missouri, on January 13-14, 1969. The purpose of the conferences is to bring together representatives of women's organizations to discuss mutual goals and mobilize for their attainment. The theme of the conferences is Encounter and Commitment.
