Community Self-Determination Symposium

The Community Self-Determination Symposium was held on December 12, 1968 at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. The event included a registration period, two question and answer sessions, a coffee break, and a reception with lunch. Senator Fred R. Harris, Senator Gaylord Nelson, John McClaughry, A. Bruce Rozes, and Gar Alperovitz were in attendance. The purpose of the symposium was to discuss structures for organizing community resources and financing community development.
