Letter from Carl Albert to the Bureau of Indian Affairs expressing concern about the lack of educational opportunities for young Klamath Indians

Ms. Annabelle Bates wrote a letter to the Bureau of Indian Affairs expressing concern about the lack of educational opportunities for young Klamath Indians. The Bureau assured her that the schools for Indian children will remain open as long as there is demand. The letter suggests referring young people to the Southwest Indian Polytechnic Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico for technical training.
