A letter from Congressman James R. Jones to Mrs. Ellen Thompson thanking her for expressing her opposition to Senator Bellmon's proposal not to fund Indian hospitals. Jones acknowledges her concerns and states that the funds for the two Indian hospitals in Oklahoma were deleted from the Appropriations bill. He reassures her that he will do everything he can to alleviate any problems this may cause and emphasizes the importance of providing adequate health care for the Indian people.
