The letter from Congressman James R. Jones to Mr. J. C. McDaniel informs him about a bill that will increase veteran's education benefits by 13.6% and provide veterans with two additional years of eligibility for GI Bill benefits. The bill will be coming to the House floor soon and Congressman Jones assures Mr. McDaniel of his strong support for the legislation. Mr. McDaniel had previously visited Congressman Jones to ask for his support in extending GI benefits, as his benefits were set to expire in May.
