James R. Jones, a Member of Congress, is urging Senator Vance Hartke to include a 9 month extension of educational benefits in the new G.I. benefits bill. He is concerned that the House omitted this provision and hopes the Senate will include it. Jones requests that someone from the Veterans Affairs Committee look into the possibility of changing the benefits back to 45 months and provide a report on the matter.
