Identifier: CAC_CC_109_7_10_2_0049
Mrs. Vergie A. Garner wrote to Congressman James R. Jones expressing her concern about the extension of GI educational benefits for veterans. She felt that the extension was unfair to those who had already made plans based on the original expiration date. She believed that the extension should have been shorter to give dedicated veterans a chance to succeed in education. Congressman Jones acknowledged her letter and expressed regret that full benefits were not provided sooner.
