Michael Montgomery called Congressman James R. Jones expressing concern about President Ford potentially vetoing H.R. 12628, the Veterans Education and Rehabilitation Amendments Act. Jones reassured Montgomery of his support for the legislation and stated that he would vote to override the veto if necessary.
