Mrs. Ocie Heady visited the Indian Affairs office in Washington, D.C. to inquire about restoring certain Choctaw Indians to the rolls for allotments on public land. The office contacted the Muskogee Area Office, who provided historical background on the issue and stated that there was no current authority to add names to the rolls. Mrs. Heady's information was forwarded for further review, and the office expressed regret that they could not provide more encouraging news. Additional documents and genealogical charts were also included in the correspondence.
