The text is a letter from Willie Hail, Chairman of the Indians of Western Oklahoma, to Honorable Carl Albert, requesting an amendment to the U.S. Housing Act of 1937 to allow Indian Tribes in Oklahoma to establish public housing agencies. The resolution was passed unanimously by Tribal Representatives from various tribes in Oklahoma. They seek financial aid for better housing for low-income Indian families.
