Bureau of Indian Affairs Contract Awarded to Mitchell Furniture Industries, Inc.
The Bureau of Indian Affairs will be awarding a $26,585 contract to Mitchell Furniture Industries, Inc. to train 19 Bryan County Indians in the manufacture of furniture items. The contract will be signed on July 1, 1964. Congressman Carl Albert expressed his support for the award and notified the Chamber of Commerce and the Furniture company about the contract.
