The Economic Opportunity Loan Program provides financing to low income individuals and disadvantaged persons to start or expand small businesses. There are two types of loans available, EOL(I) and EOL(II), with different criteria and maximum amounts. The borrower must meet certain conditions, such as having a sound business plan and not discriminating. It is recommended to have a good established bank credit. For more information, contact the Small Business Administration or a local Community Action Agency.
