Carl Albert is writing to Forrest Parrott about efforts to appoint a new Executive Officer in the Oklahoma City Area Office of the Public Health Service's Indian Health Division. They have recommended John Spaan for the position and hope a good person will be chosen. Additionally, there is mention of a party they missed and updates on their health. Forrest Parrott also mentions the support for John Spaan from the Indian community and the withdrawal of the previously selected candidate from Alaska. Chief Jimmie Belvin of the Choctaw tribe expressed the need for improvement in the administration of Indian health services.
