Dick Armey, a Member of , is in favor of reforming America's liability laws to address the excessive costs imposed by irrational product liability laws. He supports H.R. 956, the Common Sense Product Liability and Legal Reform Act, which aims to limit punitive damage awards, reform joint-and-several liability rules, and provide immunity to manufacturers after 15 years.
