The text is a response from man Dick Armey to a message expressing support for the American flag. Armey is a cosponsor of a Constitutional amendment to protect the flag from physical desecration. He believes that burning the flag is disrespectful and will support measures to discourage this act. The amendment has been passed by the Judiciary Committee and will soon be debated by the full House. Armey thanks the sender for contacting him.
