H.E. "Choc" Wilkes, a former athlete and part Indian, is leading a crusade to improve the portrayal of Native Americans in American society. He is fighting against negative stereotypes and propaganda in movies that depict Native Americans as criminals. Wilkes believes that this negative portrayal is affecting the employment opportunities and livelihood of Native Americans. He is urging for a change in the public perception of Native Americans and for them to be treated as proud American citizens.
