Mrs. Cleo McKinney wrote to Congressman Carl Albert regarding the sale of segregated coal and asphalt Chickasaw-Choctaw lands to the government. Congressman Albert reassured her that he would do his best to get Congress to appropriate the full amount of $8,500,000 so that the tribes could be paid in full. Mrs. McKinney expressed her gratitude and confidence in Congressman Albert's efforts.
