Mrs. A. W. Mason sent a letter to Carl Albert expressing her appreciation for his efforts in securing payment for the members of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations for the sale of their lands. Albert acknowledges the delay in settlement but assures that the payments will be made soon. He also mentions that regulations are being written for immediate payments to living members. Albert expresses his desire to serve his district and country to the best of his ability and offers his assistance to Mrs. Mason.
