Mrs. Wright wrote to Congressman Carl Albert regarding the death of her mother and the payment to members of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations. Congressman Albert expressed his sympathies and advised Mrs. Wright to notify the Superintendent of the Five Civilized Tribes Agency of her mother's death. He also informed her that living enrolled members would be paid first, with checks likely to be mailed out in mid-July. Congressman Albert offered further assistance if needed.
