Mrs. Pink B. Irvin received a letter from Congressman Carl Albert informing her about the payment to Choctaw and Chickasaw Indians for the sale of their coal lands to the government. Living enrolled members will be paid first, with checks expected to be sent out in July for around $300 each. Dead claims will be distributed to heirs after living members are paid. Mrs. Irvin expresses gratitude for the information and asks for more details about the payment process.
