Mrs. Mattie Lynn is inquiring about payment for the sale of land belonging to the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nation following her husband's passing. The Indian Office has advised that payment will be distributed to heirs after proof of heirship is established. Living enrolled members will be paid first, followed by heirs. Mrs. Lynn is instructed to contact the Superintendent to request an heirship notice.
