Mrs. Lena Wheat Flynn is inquiring about payment for the sale of coal lands by the Choctaws and Chickasaws to the government. Congressman Carl Albert informs her that payment will be made to living enrolled members within the next sixty days, and proof of heirship notices will be sent out in August. Mrs. Flynn is advised to update her address with the Superintendent of the Five Civilized Tribes Agency to avoid delays in receiving her check. She also asks about eligibility for her children and requests assistance in receiving her benefits.
