In April 1498, Bill Goodling from Washington, D.C. thanked Dick for helping him fight back against the Wisconsin Term Limit group and Gary Bauer who tried to interfere with his primary election. He acknowledges the support he received in the form of TV, radio, and mailers, and expresses his commitment to help others in need. Goodling also thanks Dick for visiting his district and supporting him.
