Identifier: CAC_CC_014_2.2_29_1_0006
Cpl. Dina Noskin writes to Helen Gahagan Douglas expressing frustration that WACs are still required to serve despite the war being over. She argues that their job is no longer essential and suggests that unemployed veterans could take over their roles. Noskin requests demobilization for WACs so they can enjoy the benefits of democracy and live a normal life. Helen Gahagan Douglas responds, acknowledging the letter but stating that WACs are subject to the same regulations as enlisted men and she cannot help with their release.
