The Department of the Air Force has selected industry participants for the mobile mid-range ballistic missile program. Proposals were received and after a detailed review, firms were selected for negotiations for the program definition phase. The selected firms will work on integration, assembly, and checkout; command and control; guidance; propulsion; transporter-launcher; and re-entry system. Further decisions on the development program will be made after the completion of the Phase I efforts.
