Carl Albert announced that Douglas Lee Brazil has been appointed to the U.S. Air Force Academy after scoring the highest on a competitive examination. Brazil, son of Lt. Col. and Mrs. Virgil L. Brazil, will enter the academy in June. He has excelled both academically and in extracurricular activities, earning membership in the National Honor Society.
