In these letters from February 1960, Honorable Carl Albert and Oren Harris discuss the status of the Broken Bow Reservoir project in Oklahoma and the funds needed for construction. They have been in communication with General Whipple of the Corps of Engineers regarding the planning and funding for the project. It is mentioned that $500,000 each has been allocated for the Millwood and Broken Bow projects in the upcoming fiscal year. They plan to use this information for their appearance before the Appropriations Subcommittee.
