 Item — Box: 55, Folder: 5b
Identifier: CAC_CC_004_6_55_5b_0001
The Department of Agriculture received a letter from Congressman Belcher regarding an application for assistance under the Watershed Protection and Flood Prevention Act for the Cotton-Coon-Mission Creek Watershed. The application needs approval from the Oklahoma State Soil Conservation Board before the Soil Conservation Service can take action. Currently, resources are fully utilized for six watersheds in Oklahoma, but the Cotton-Coon-Mission Creek Watershed will be considered for planning assistance once resources permit. The Department assures assistance to local organizations interested in the project. The enclosed correspondence has been returned as requested.
