 Item — Box: 6, Folder: 74
Identifier: CAC_CC_001_4_6_74_0001
Mr. Roy L. Bohannan wrote a letter on August 27 stating that he had not received his per capita payment for the sale of coal and asphalt land. Congressman Carl Albert wrote to the Superintendent of the Five Civilized Tribes Agency on Bohannan's behalf to inquire about the delay. The Superintendent responded that Bohannan's application had been processed and his check should be received soon. Albert expressed frustration with the delay in payments and assured Bohannan of his assistance. Ultimately, it was confirmed that Bohannan's payment was on its way.
