The Department of the Interior's Office of Indian Affairs in Muskogee, Oklahoma, is unable to sell segregated town lots and lands of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations until they are advised whether the United States Government will include surface rights to all segregated coal and asphalt deposits. As a result, they are not able to proceed with the sale of Lots 2, 16, and 17 in Block 88 in Haileyville, Oklahoma.
