John J. Corson has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Municipal Manpower Commission by James E. Webb. Corson is a management consultant with extensive experience in various government and private sector roles. The Commission was established to study the manpower needs of urban governments in the United States. Corson holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in economics and has authored several books and articles. Webb made the announcement on behalf of the Commission's members, which include prominent individuals from academia and industry.
