Mrs. Bailey writes to Senator Kerr about the political situation in New Mexico, expressing concern about Republican influence in the East Side. She suggests strategies for winning back Democratic support in the area and advises Senator Kerr to focus on Western Counties in Oklahoma as well. Mrs. Bailey also mentions a State Teachers Convention in Albuquerque but hopes to attend Senator Kerr's speech in Portales.
