Janet Lee Baird applied for a passport to go to South Africa to marry a man from there. She had not received any updates on her application and was getting anxious as their departure date was approaching. Lucille reached out to Marjorie for assistance, and eventually, the passport agency in New York City agreed to amend Baird's passport to show her married name before she sailed. Baird expressed her gratitude for any assistance given in the matter.
