Mrs. Baker wrote to Senator Robert S. Kerr offering to sell him an oil painting of an old thrashing machine, but Senator Kerr politely declined as he was not in the market for additional paintings. Senator Kerr thanked Mrs. Baker for her offer and mentioned that he had enjoyed his visit to Frederick, Oklahoma.
