Major Ray Milton Balyeat has submitted a resignation from the United States Air Force due to his father's health issues and financial obligations. His father, Dr. Ray Morton Balyeat, has been diagnosed with lymphatic leukemia and can no longer subsidize Major Balyeat's lease on medical office space. Major Balyeat is seeking early separation from the military to take over his father's medical practice and support his family. He has requested forgiveness of his remaining military service obligation.
