Response to Mrs. Myrtle Creason's Resolution, 1951-06-11T00:00:00+00:00

 Item — Box: 11, Folder: 43
Identifier: CAC_CC_001_4_11_43_0003
The Governor of the Chickasaw Nation is responding to a letter from Mrs. Myrtle Creason regarding the distribution of funds from a coal sale contract. The Governor explains that the funds must be distributed according to the law in force at the time of the death of the allottee, as determined by legal precedent and investigations. The Governor states that it would be impractical and illegal to reverse the distribution of funds that have already been disbursed, and therefore cannot support Mrs. Creason's resolution.
