Carl Albert, a Congressman from Oklahoma, received a letter from State Senator Raymond Gary regarding the proposed separation of probate attorneys from the Indian Service in southeastern Oklahoma. Albert is against the proposal and has requested the Commissioner of Indian Affairs to rescind the action. He assures Gary that he will do what he can to prevent this from happening.
