The letter is a response from Carl Albert to Mr. Bentley Beams regarding the separation of probate attorneys and farm management supervisors from the Indian Service. Carl Albert has contacted the Commissioner of Indian Affairs about the situation and is awaiting a response. He assures Mr. Beams that he will do what he can to prevent the separation from happening.
