Mr. Eric H. Poggenpohl, a junior at Union College, wrote to Senator Fred R. Harris expressing his interest in spending his spring term on an Indian reservation. Senator Harris contacted the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Indian Affairs to inquire about available positions for Mr. Poggenpohl. The Bureau advised Mr. Poggenpohl to contact the Area Director for the location he is interested in working. Senator Harris forwarded the Bureau's response to Mr. Poggenpohl to assist him in pursuing his proposal.
